JLD supplies fiberglass reinforced plastic sheet piles (FRP) for project "Kollumer trekfeart" at Kollum.
The old sheet piles there are being replaced with 6-meter-long glass fiber reinforced plastic sheet piles, placed by Kuipers Waterbouw Dokkum BV.
Plastic sheet piles are a surprisingly strong and durable solution for bank protection. The use of JLD plastic sheet piling provides decades of maintenance-free soil and water protection.
