Strong and Durable Protection
Fiberglass reinforced sheet piles are an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to steel sheet piles. It is a strong and highly durable composite sheet pile profile that can withstand extreme conditions such as salt, acid and high temperatures.
Advantages of fiberglass reinforced sheet piles (FRP)
Corrosion-resistant
Very favorable MKI value
Easier to handle
Cost saving (LCA), within your engineering design and final realization.
Corrosion resistance
Fiberglass composites naturally offer protection against corrosion, resulting in durable sheet piles that hold up even in challenging environments. In addition, these sections exhibit minimal expansion and contraction response to temperature changes, contributing to one lasting dimensional stability. A sheet pile design can be developed by a specialist that requires the application of FRP sheet piles with minimal reduction (aging surcharge). A corrosion allowance based on the end-of-life strength is not necessary when using FRP sheet piles.
High strength-to-weight ratio
Fiberglass composites offer an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, making them strong yet lightweight. A reduction in many logistical points that are also directly reflected in a favorable MKI value.
The use of a Fiberglass Reinforced (FRP) sheet pile wall
Plastic sheet piles, both vinyl and fiberglass reinforced, have already found their way and are already widely used nationally and internationally. In addition, we offer various accessories, such as deck gaps for finishing and filters for controlling the correct water level behind the sheet piling.
