What is GEWI

(GEWI T)

GEWI steel is a hot-rolled, wire end (also called tie rod) with 2-sided rolled ribs in the form of a left-hand thread. The GEWI steel meets the requirements set in DIN 488, also with regard to weldability. The Ø16-50 GEWI push/pull rods

(GEWI TR)

GEWI+ steel is a hot rolled, with 2-sided right-hand threaded rolled ribs. All GEWI+ bars have a Tensile strength of 800 N/mm2 and a 0.2 Elongation limit of 670 N/mm2.

The available lengths

The bars are standard in stock and available in the following lengths: 3, 6, 7.5, 9, 12, 15 meters. In addition to our standard sizes, larger lengths are also available, please contact us.
