Water Board Rivierenlandorganizedthe kick-off meeting POV(Project Overstijgende Verkenning) Macrostabiliteit on Monday, January 19. The program included the JLD dike stabilizer, with a presentation by Jos Karsten and a visit to the test site. Motel Volendam Katwoude was packed with invited guests.

The JLD Dike Stabilizer is a project Antea Group is currently working on with partners JLD Contracting BV, Wiertsema & Partners and Waterschap Rivierenland.
In the afternoon, interesting topics around the HWBP/POV Macrostability were discussed during various plenary sessions and workshops. There was also an excursion to the test site of the JLD dike stabilizer at the end of the afternoon.
