The filters are easy to clean or replace if they ever clog or fail. We have filters for concrete walls, wharf structures, sheet piling including steel, vinyl, composite and wood bulkheads.

Our capital city of Amsterdam has about 200 kilometers of municipal #kademuren that are in poor condition. Therefore, the City of Amsterdam has partnered with 6 parties, including Strukton, for an #innovation project.

JLD Contracting, in combination with Strukton Civiel bid for the tender "life extension measures" of the quay walls of the municipality of Amsterdam,
and have thus joined forces.

 

REPLACE OR RENOVATE

Replace or renovate? Life span of quay at Baatland extended significantly after survey and replacement of purlins and anchor rods. Over 185,000 kilos of steel saved. A huge financial windfall for the community, but also a much lower impact on the environment and nuisance for the surroundings.

Our innovative solution involves a foam that binds to water. With support and #collaboration from the City of Amsterdam and recognized knowledge institutes, we are investigating the effect of the foam on groundwater, among other things, in the coming period. This is how we work together on innovative #solutions and help build the future.
