The JLD Clap Anchor
The JLD Anchor is a mechanical ground anchor with extensive constructive application possibilities for ground anchoring in the civil, utility and maritime industry. Based on the anchor force and soil data (soundings) a suitable design can be made for almost any situation, delivered and possibly installed by us.
What are the advantages of a Clap Anchor?
- Minimal ground disturbance
- Easy to apply even in locations where space is limited
- Anchor system to calculate the desired lifetime
- Finishing clapboard: treated / hot-dip galvanized
- Low CO2 emissions
- Little inconvenience to surroundings and nearby residents
- The flip anchor is almost instantly loadable
Efficient solutions
Anchors are the ideal solution for quickly and reliably anchoring structures that require additional support. The type of JLD anchors is determined on the basis of the calculation to be made in accordance with CUR-166. With these JLD anchors and smooth installation, we pay attention to nature, the environment and the surroundings. Minimal emissions and an optimal result.
How does the folding anchor work?
The JLD-Flap Anchor offers the advantage over other systems that the anchor force is achieved "without ground disturbance" thanks to the mechanism of application and tilting. To obtain certainty about the holding load of the JLD-Anchors, control tests can be carried out on the anchors in accordance with the JLD-Span Protocol.
- 01 |Turnthe anchor rod into the folding anchor and vibrate the anchor through the connecting rod to the correct depth.
- 02 |Removethe connecting rod from the anchor.
- 03 |Flipthe anchor by withdrawing the anchor rod.
- 04 |Bringthe anchor to the desired preload.
Calculation
JLD clap anchors are calculated in accordance with nationally applicable standards. For the Netherlands, the CUR 166 is applicable. Download your calculation sheet here.
